When you want the best, look no further than "Tripton Fell" located on the east side of Silver Lake in Traverse City. This beautiful home is offered on a monthly basis with some possible shorter dates available (at least a 14-night minimum). Imagine spending a month on the lake in beautiful Northern Michigan! Located minutes from downtown this stunning home is located in a quiet residential area with sunset views and offers the best in upscale lodging. Nicely appointed, multi-level home has space to spread out with multi-car parking and a basketball hoop out front.

The kitchen is a chef's dream. Everything you could possibly need to prepare meals and entertain. 6 bar stools get you right up to the bar at the kitchen area. Granite counter tops, DW, large refrigerator and pantry and so much more.

On the main floor there is also a 1/2 bath, a bedroom with a king bed, large walk-in closet and a full bath with jacuzzi tub plus another half bath off the kitchen and a separate laundry room. Sheets and towels are provided.

On the upper level is a loft with lake views, game table and futon; a full bath, a bedroom with bunk beds that sleep four and another with a queen bed.

On the lower level enjoy a huge entertainment/game room. Featuring comfortable seating, flat panel TV and pool table. This cool space will be a welcome spot to watch sports, play a friendly game of pool and simply have a good time. There is also one bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath on the lower level. There is a second large deck off the entertainment room with seating. This is a walk out level to the lake by descending 14-steps or walking down the hill. Outdoors is the best of beachfront perfection with 100' of sandy beach, a tiki bar with mini-refrigerator, patio with seating, and a dock. The tiki bar has an assortment of chairs, beach toys, etc.

This fantastic location is central to so many activities in the Traverse City area. Like minor league baseball? You can catch a Beach Bums game just 5 minutes away. Live entertainment? Interlochen Center for the Arts is a 10 minute drive. Northwest Michigan Fair is just south. Tennis, walking path, hiking, and a children's play area are offered at the Silver Lake public park less than 2 miles up the road.
Downtown Traverse City is famous for its variety of restaurants and offers festivals all summer long. Like doing wine tastings? Leelanau County and Old Mission Peninsula both offer many wineries and are a short, scenic drive away. There is so much to do in this terrific area you will have to come back again and again just to enjoy it all.

This home has central heating and air conditioning and enhanced Wi-Fi for streaming. Note, there is no cable hook-up so bring your streaming device! You will not be disappointed when you stay at this wonderful home.

We had a wonderful family retreat at Tripton Fell on Silver Lake. The home was well suited for our needs and gave us both privacy (3 levels) and several great gathering places, including the two large decks. The beach and yard were perfect for the grandkids and the western exposure made for outstanding sunsets. The location was great with easy access to Traverse City, Interlochen, sand dunes, a community park, etc. The home was quite reasonably well maintained but also lived in, so it was very comfortable for our needs. (Might suggest reorganizing the kitchen a bit, providing a few beach towels and improving/replacing the dock, but all in all a great experience.) We would definitely rebook for future summers.

This was by far the most amazing vacation with my family. The house was perfect. Big kitchen to cook, large open living area to hang out. The outside deck was my favorite place to sit and mediate. The view from the house was tranquil. Silver lake is beautiful. We fished out the dock every morning and evening. Rented a boat, went tubing . wake boarding , knee baording. Made a bonfire every night and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. The house is surrounded by wonderful neighbors that may us feel like we we're part of thier community. House is in a perfect location near downtown, shopping. Restaurants etc. I was truly sad to leave.

It was overall very good. We had some issues with the house: the AC wasn't working, the electric stopped working in the master bathroom, the Internet went out but everything was resolved quickly. The house was lovely!

We stayed in Tripton Fell in August 2015, the house is wonderful ... big rooms, nice family area and game room, and a wonderful private beach with a boathouse. Silver Lake is incredibly clean and great for swimming, However, there's a lot of speed boat and jet ski traffic, which can make it difficult to have a safe boat ride or kayak. And while the location is close to Traverse City, there's not much in the way of biking or hiking in the immediate vicinity. It's great if you want to stick around the house and enjoy the swimming area, sit on your beach and roast marshmallows. Also like to add that Visit Up North is a fantastic management company, when the air conditioning broke they had it fixed within 24 hours, and even ran over fans the day it happened so we wouldn't melt.

In town Traverse City has the VASA trail which is paved for cycling and walking. If guests ever need suggestions for tings to do feel free to call us.
