Enjoy beautiful downtown Traverse City in this super cute, second-floor condo that sleeps six. Located just a couple of blocks from West Grand Traverse Bay and downtown Traverse City, this condo is close to everything.
The main floor of this two-level condo is bright and open concept with a living/dining area and a full bathroom. There is a balcony off the dining area. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and another full bathroom. One of the queen bedrooms has a private balcony.
This is a great location to enjoy everything in Traverse City. Walk to the downtown area for great local shopping or dining. Enjoy the National Cherry Festival, Traverse City Film Festival, and the West Grand Traverse Bay beaches. F&M Park is just across the street with a great playground and an ice rink in the winter.

Perfect location to explore downtown Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Old Mission Peninsula, Leland (Fishtown) and Nauti-Cat boat cruise is very near. Also, it is a very easy route to the airport from this location. The area was quiet and we did not hear any road noise.

We stayed in unit 17 from 8/24-8/29. Very clean and the pre check in instructions were spot on. Very pleased with our stay and would have no problem coming back. Only other thing to note, there were a lot of fruit flies and it looks like they tried to mitigate that some but they were annoying!

I absolutely love this place. I was able to have a nice vacation during the cherry festival with my daughter, daughter in law, and two little grand daughters. Everything is within walking distance. There is a playground across the street with kids’ activities. You can see the water, hear the music from the concerts, see the air show, and see the fireworks all from the balcony. Clean. Was able to cook all meals and all be together instead of trying to figure out motel rooms. It was our second year doing this. I highly recommend this place for a family vacation.

Condo was exactly as described with a great layout for our girls weekend. 6 of us stayed and were very comfortable. Walking distance to Downtown on Front St. Perfect l8cation for shopping and dining. I would definitely stay here again. Only thing missing is chairs on the deck to enjoy the view and the outdoors.

The property description was accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc. The place was clean and well maintained. The manager provided good customer service. I would definitely recommend this property to to a friend or relative. I rented the condo to have a quality visit with my daughter, daughter in law, and two 3 and a half year old granddaughters. It was during the cherry festival, over the week of the 4th of July. Individual hotel rooms were going to be expensive anyway, so I decided to rent this property. It was perfect for our needs. I bought some groceries for the week and cooked and made snacks and sandwiches. We only ate out once at he family friendly brewery called Rare Bird. We also took the kiddos for ice cream at Moomer’s. We rented a car, but everything was within walking distance. We saw the bay from our balcony. We were able to watch the air show and fireworks from our balcony. There is a playground across the street behind the property. So, we took the kiddos there several times. We walked to the festival, the water slab, and the beach. We didn’t have to stress about parking. We all really enjoyed our visit.

Very nice condo. Nice furnishings. After a day we found that floors were not washed and some not swept Lamps etc were dusty. (we cleaned everything). We had to clean out the tub drain (very gross) tub was draining very slowly - standing water when showering. The lower level shower floor was very slippery - should have something to improve slipping when getting in and out. We wish there were a garage for storing bikes. There were lots of closets! The kitchen was well stocked. The location was great - close to beach, downtown, etc.

thought it was overpriced. neighbors were right on top of you. they could see in our windows and we could see in theirs. blinds didn't work properly. bathtub faucet looked like it was going to fall off. filtered pitcher in fridge had hole in it. water tasted funky from it. probably needed a new filter. location was great. walking distance to downtown

This was our first time renting with Up North Vacation Rentals and we were very happy with the overall experience. The unit was clean and in good condition. Front Street shops are within walking distance and about 1/4 mile away from condo. In colder weather you may want to drive and park downtown.

Unit was conveniently located in Traverse City. We could walk into town and not have to worry about parking. Also centrally located to explore the rest of the region. The unit was spacious and clean and in excellent condition. We would stay there again if returning to the area. Also, check-in was convenient and communication was also excellent.

We had a wonderful time in TC. The condo was in a great location. It was so close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Plus, it was only a short drive to hiking, disc golf, cherry picking and kayaking. We had 3 couples (6 adults) and it fit us comfortably. Would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay in Traverse City. The location of this property is very good as it is walkable to downtown and some historic neighborhoods. We have stayed at this property several times before because of this.The carpets in this property were replaced over the last year (new carpet upstairs, laminate downstairs)...which was a huge improvement over the old filthy carpet from previous years. They also removed broken vertical blinds and replaced with curtains in master bedroom...another nice improvement as sleeping on vacation in a key goal. Still some repair issues remain. Dishwasher is not attached to cabinet properly and comes out of runs ok, but sounds as if it is near EoLife. Blinds in other 2 bedrooms close well for sleeping, but don't expect them to go all the way up during the day as they are old and tired. Still, one full bath is a challenge for 6 people in the property. Property was clean. Only complaint was stain (blood?) on master comforter.Management company had trouble with "Hospitality Website" which provides entry lock codes, but they worked hard to make sure we had the information (via email and calls to home)....unfortunately that did not make it less confusing, as emails still directed toward "Hospitality Website" and phone call was to home after we had already left. We however called Visit Up North and promptly got the information upon general always happy with them. They work hard to try to solve issues.We booked first time, just after peak season. Reduced price was nice, but definitely less excitement in town after peak. Picked up over Labor Day weekend, but oddly still some places were shut down over the weekend. In general easy to get into restaurants/microbreweries after peak season....but sometimes you found you were nearly the only person at establishment during week days. In summary: after peak season is a compromise.Overall, a very positive experience.

me and 3 friends stayed in this condo for 2 days. the condo was clean, well laid out and easy to get to. the carpet was new and clean, there was ample paper products and just enough towels. the only suggestion i would make is put blinds on the balcony doors in the dining area. other than that the condo was great as was the location. i also liked that the manager contacted us to see if everything was fine, which it was.

I had my doubts going up north in February to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but it was a wonderful time staying in Traverse City. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the local plays (Sylvia and Charlie Brown), movies, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, and the fantastic restaurants. Lots of snow but the roads and sidewalks were all cleared off and easy to get around. Super time. I highly recommend TC in the winter!

Location was great for walking to the beach or downtown Traverse City (shopping, food, etc.) The family enjoyed the quick walk for breakfast/coffee. It is near some very nice old neighborhoods (Washington St) for a lovely evening walk. It's location was also a short driving distance from other necessities (e.g. grocery store). We have stayed in this complex several times previously and location was the primary reason. The space with 3 bedrooms was good for 6 guests. The rest of the space was a bit challenging for the 6 adult guests (maybe ok for family with younger kids): 1.5 bath means only 1 shower, living room seating for 5 adults - not 6. Although there were closets in each bedroom for hanging clothes, the lack of a dresser in bedrooms meant you lived out of suitcases during the entire stay. Although most of the condo was very clean, the carpets on main floor were quite dirty and upstairs hall carpet was quite warn and someone dirty. Bring slippers! Finally, as one might expect in a condo with shared walls/floors/ceiling, there can occasionally be noise from adjacent units during the night (which woke us up a couple times). And noise from this unit's main floor can easily be heard from condo need to be somewhat quiet.

We stayed in #17. Did not realize it only had 1 shower, thought that was weird for 3 bedrooms. Brother stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and it had 2 1/2 baths! Also like the 2 bedroom unit layout better.

Th condo was clean and beautiful with beach vibe. The three bedrooms up made it great for the three couples that came along. Within walking distance to all downtown has to offer. Up north vacations made the rental process easy and followed up with me a couple of times prior to our trip.

We will definately rent this condo again if we are ever in TC again. There were 4 adults and a 1 year old. The condo was very very clean and stocked with more than we needed. The location was excellent as close (no need to use a car) to restaurants, shopping, and the parks and water were across the streets. Location is perfect to drive north and explore all the little towns, wineries, dunes, lighthouse and more. We felt safe at all times. We received at least two calls from mgmt while there to see if any issues/concerns and was happy to tell them no.

We had a great 8-days vacation at Traverse City! A plus factor to this was our wise decision to stay i The Suite Up North. The cosy condo with pleasant interior design and furnishings was complete with amenities,easy WIFI access, clear instructions,accessible parking lots and its location is within walking distance to town. The maintenance staff were friedly, quick and prompt to act on our report of the bathroom shower tap mulfunction . We had to request for a mop to clean the kitchen floor as it was rather sticky and oily as we checked in on our first day. But our only complain that was not attended to is that there was no lighting on the main staircase leading to the two units upstairs. Overall we are happy and satisfied with our stay and will highly recommend this property to relatives and friends!Helena and Bernard

Very friendly and helpful staff at Up North Vacations. The location was very close to down town and very convenient to restaurants. The beach was across a very busy street. Rating of 4 for condition due to dirty carpet and issues with bathtub. The condo neighbors were not nice - we found a note on our bikes telling us to move them - a lady approached us and rudely said "you are not staying at a resort".--Overall we enjoyed our stay.
