Lure Me In is a cute rustic 3-bedroom cabin on South Lake Leelanau that welcomes up to 7 guests. Originally the Au She Gun Resort, this area is fantastic for providing plenty of family fun. The cabin features a full kitchen with a gas stove and toaster oven (no regular oven). The master bedroom includes a King bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with doubles on the top and bottom. Sheets and towels are included.
The outdoor area is spacious and leads to the lake. This location faces west, so be prepared for amazing sunsets. The area around the cabins is a fun and safe area for little ones to play. Well-mannered pets are considered. Pet parents are required to clean up after furry friends. A dock and mooring are provided. There is also a mooring buoy. The outdoor amenities include a picnic area, with a picnic table and beach chairs for lakeside relaxation. A charcoal grill and firepit complete the perks.
This cabin is 20 minutes from downtown Traverse City, Suttons Bay, and Leland. Wineries and breweries dot the Leelanau Peninsula, and shopping at Toms is an easy 15-minute trip. Sleeping Bear Dunes is a pretty half-hour drive away.Tall Ship cruises are available on Grand Traverse Bay, as are numerous festivals in Traverse City.

I was very pleased with the cabin and the support I received. Two minor things: check-in should be earlier than 4 as you lose a half day so late in the day. Also, instructions were needed for the TV and four remote controls.

What a perfect place to kick-off our summer! We spent our days exploring the peninsula, TC area and even made it down to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire and the Cherry Bowl! The lake was warm and we spent hours each day swimming in the clear, sandy bottomed water. The cottage was fully stocked and a great home base for all of our adventures. The beds were comfortable and the cottage was plenty big enough for the three of us. We would definitely return!

We spent 3 nights and traveled to sleeping bear, several light houses, and up to Leeland and Fishtown as well as traveled Old Mission Point in Traverse City. We were able to enjoy a fire and beautiful sunset and cook homemade food for a change on our week long adventure up the west coast of lower Michigan!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We were there for our anniversary. The cabin was centrally located to all of the things we wanted to do. In the future if we brought our daughters back it was definitely big enough to accommodate us all and has a nice small sandy area they could play with sand toys in. There were many spiders and spider webs in every room that I did feel the need to clean upon our arrival. But the cabin was otherwise clean.

We had a great time at the Lure-Me-In! We have two small children, and this cabin was perfect for us. The backyard and beach area provides a great play space for outdoor time. For about 200 yards the lake water is only about four feet deep, so perfect for swimming and playing. The cabin itself has spacious common areas and is well maintained & clean. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows provided. Although no AC, there are lots of windows in the cabin that offer a great breeze and fans are provided in every room. The location is feels secluded, but is also easy to take day trips and see some of the great locations around the area. We highly recommend this location!

Had a slight issue with the toilet not flushing right that we noticed the first morning but they took care of the issue immediately and were pleasant to work with. I would have no issues recommending this lovely little house. We are actually thinking of renting this for a summer vacation this year.
