Escape from it all at Brookhaven Resort on the beautiful sapphire-blue Big Glen Lake! One of five cottages with shared access to 150' of water frontage, tennis court, basketball court, and row boats. Gather around the shared fire pit for s'mores and sunsets overlooking Alligator Hill in the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. The cabin is one level, faces west, at the end of a quiet street, and sleeps six. It can be reserved for weeks only during the summer season.
There is one queen, one full, and two twins. Full kitchen (no dishwasher), charcoal grill, and picnic table. WIFI. No TV, no phone, no worries at this peaceful location only minutes to the village of Glen Arbor. There is a window A/C unit in the living area.
Quick drives to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, shopping, dining, kayaking, hiking, and more. Big Glen Lake is great for kids. Crystal clean water and no severe drop-offs. Boating, fishing, and swimming--enjoy them all!

Brookhaven 5 is a perfectly sized cabin for a small-sized, cozy getaway in Northern MI. The cabin is perfectly located just steps away from the water with pristine views of the lake and is also a super short drive from the main street of Glen Arbor. 10/10 would come back the next time I'm in the area!

This house was gorgeous. The main room is nice and open with plenty of room for our whole family. Love that it is dog friendly. Despite allowing dogs, the home was immaculately clean. It had the best stocked kitchen of any rental I have ever stayed in. Quiet and close to Glen Arbor, nothing to complain about here whatsoever.

Very cosy and comfortable. The location was great and the views were amazing! We plan to book this place next year. The cottage had everything we needed. It’s an older style cottage, but very functional. I would recommend having instructions on how to use the heater and invest in having AC for the first unit.

As every year, we travel up north in Michigan to see some beautiful colors of nature during fall. This time we chose to stay in a small cabin with another couple. We were company of four and the cabin had enough space for all of us. It was clean and tidy. Love creative display of bath towels :) We had beautiful unobstructed view of the Big Glen Lake and enjoyed peace and quiet of the property since it’s away from the main road. We would definitely love to come back to the cabin but during warmer months. Even though the cabin is supplied with a wall heater and portable heater, couple of us were not as warm as we would have liked. But then again we like heat and not everyone likes to be toasty. Thank you so much for making us feel welcomed!

My family and I recently stayed at Brookhaven. We were so pleased with the location to the lake, available kayaks, stand up paddle boards and little beach /fire pit area. We have 3 Youngs kids and they had the best time playing in the shallow water. The pier was amazing and we picked up pizza and ate out on the pier with a beautiful view. We have already told our extended family about what a great experience we had and hope to rent multiple cottages next year!

Our family of four rented a 3 bedroom cabin on Big Glen Lake and it was perfect for us. Great location only 5 min from Glen Arbor, 10 min to the Dune Climb, and 30 min to Traverse City. We took advantage of all of the nearby destinations and squeezed in two kayak excursions on Big Glen Lake. Cabin property had kayaks and paddle boards and the the shallow water at the property made entry and easy for the whole family. The cabin was all we needed; clean, full kitchen, shower with plenty of hot water, and a living room and porch to spread out and relax. We plan to return with friends or other family members in multiple cabins!!

What a great spot! We spent 10 days at Brookhaven 5 as an in-between spot while moving from one home to another, and it couldn't have been better. The property management service was awesome, and the lake was perfect with paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, sunsets and campfires. We loved the proximity to the dunes, the Heritage Trail, Glen Arbor, and Laker Shakes for ice cream! The cottage is small (as we expected it would be) but it provided everything we needed, and with so much great outdoor space you really don't need much more. We would definitely recommend to family and friends coming to stay in the area!

Big Glen Lake is fantastic. Surrounded on three sides by Sleeping Bear is incredible. Cabin fully met our needs. The only thing that was a surprise was that a tornado came through recently and wiped out the road, numerous trees, and damaged several adjacent properties. It was difficult to find the road because the entrance looked like a disaster area. But once we got in, it was fine.

With so many great places to stay in the Sleeping Bear Dunes area, we've returned to another really nice cottage on Glen Lake. This year Brookhaven 5 provided nearly everything for a wonderful 5 day stay. They provided use of row boats,kayaks,a canoe and life preservers. We appreciated the leisurely option of fishing in the smaller Brooks Lake at the back of the property, or swimming and boating from "our" beach on Big Glen Lake! The cottage was perfectly cozy for 6 and wifi was a nice bonus. Unlike many rentals, the provided linens, towels, pillows and blankets were plentiful and of good quality. The beds were very comfy, and the kitchen well stocked. Some of us older folks were pleased to find easy access to Lake Michigan and The Dunes without the difficult climb within a 10 min drive. We are so excited to come back next time! Thanks Brookhaven for another great family vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at Brookhaven #5. The cottage was a good fit for our family of 5, with 3 kids under 12. Excellent, and quiet, location with great views of Alligator Hill. The cottage is located within a 5 minute drive of Glen Arbor. Kayaks and canoe were welcome addition to our personal kayaks and it gave us all an opportunity to paddle on the clear waters of Glen Lake. Cottage was mostly clean - floor probably had not been vaccumed prior to our arrival - but the rest of the property was well maintained. Kitchen and utensils, while not extensive, were adequate for a week's stay. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely consider returning soon.
