Escape from it all at Brookhaven Resort on the beautiful sapphire-blue Big Glen Lake! One of five cottages with shared access to 150' of water frontage, tennis court, basketball court, and row boats. Gather around the shared fire pit for s'mores and sunsets overlooking Alligator Hill in the Sleeping Bear Dunes area. The cabin is 1 level, faces West, at the end of a quiet street, and sleeps 4. It Can be reserved for weeks only during the summer season.

There is one queen, one Full, and two twins. The full kitchen (no dishwasher) has a charcoal grill and a picnic table. There is also WIFI. There is no TV or phone, so there are no worries at this peaceful location, only minutes from the village of Glen Arbor.

Quick drives to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, shopping, dining, kayaking, hiking, and more. Big Glen Lake is great for kids. Crystal clean water and no severe drop-offs. Boating, fishing, and swimming--enjoy them all!

My family and I stayed at Brookhaven 3. The grounds were accommodating for our young family as we enjoyed fishing as well as playing pickleball. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed as we ate in each night. As a family we enjoyed being so close to downtown Glen Arbor and being on the Glen Lake at the same time. We also enjoyed the Sand Dunes and many hikes in the area. The only downside of our vacation unfortunately was the "swimmer's itch". Our kids got it so bad after the first day it was pretty unbearable for the next 3-4 nights sleeping and even continued as we got home. I think we ended up purchasing all the hydrocortisone cream that the IGA had available in downtown Glen Arbor. As it was no ones fault, it was just unfortunate situation as we didn't use the water after that first day. I would encourage other renters especially those with little kids to make sure to try and use all precaution before swimming in the Lake. I know as we grow older my kids will always remember this trip as the year we got swimmers itch. My kids have gotten it before but for some reason this year it was extremely intense. Lastly, the facility is great and it was so welcoming from the other renters as well. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at Brookhaven 3.

A friend and I were running the sleeping bear marathon and this was an excellent place to stay. The cabin was easy to find, very clean and organized. The views from the cabin and beach area were also amazing! It is also just a few mins from the town which was also a perfect little town for a weekend away.

Our original vacation rental, reserved through VRBO, was canceled on the morning we were due to depart due to a the car ferry to Bois Blanc Island breaking down. This was Saturday, July 3rd. Lovely autumn getaway

We took a short weekend trip from the chicagoland area and really enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was cozy, heated up pretty quickly, and fit the description perfectly. The amenities were great and we only wish the rain went away earlier so that we could enjoy the canoes & kayaks. Proximity to the dunes is great and the town itself was charming with some nice little dining locations. Also not terribly far from Traverse City. The staff was super polite and accommodating and we will definitely be back!

Great location centrally located on east side of the lake. Beautiful View of big glen lake and surrounding dunes. Nice location at night for star gazing and we got to see the comet neowise and meteor shower. Short drive to empire and pierce stocking drive on national lake shore. Cabins are cozy and have 2 rooms with grill , gas stove and fan in every room. We had a great time visiting all the beautiful sites in the area. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend staying there and would stay there again.

While we have stayed in Glen Arbor area over a dozen times, we have never stayed on Glen Lake. This was a first and we couldn't have been more thrilled with not only the location but the amenities that came with the rental. Within 5 minutes of arriving my daughters (ages 11 and 13) were changed into swim suites and were on the paddle boards. We brought our bikes and rode into Glen Arbor one night for dinner -it was a hilly ride but lovely. The cabin was the perfect size for the three of us. We lost power the first night but sat by a bon fire and met our neighbors and then played a game of Sorry by candlelight. Power was back on in the middle of the night and all was good. My daughters loved everything about it and were sad to leave. We will definitely be back!

Great Labor Day weekend stay

Beautiful location right on Glen Lake! The shared kayaks and paddle boards were not an issue, there was always one available when I wanted to use it. I would have preferred our own fire pit, but sharing it between the cabins wasn't too big of an issue. We used the tennis court every morning. Overall it was a great place and I'd stay here again.

Brookhaven 3 is a great little cabin, with lovely cabin- appropriate decor and a well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom facilities are nice, although small. The management company was very responsive, when we reported a small maintenance issue. Great to have wifi and access to kayaks too! The location is beautiful$

We have visited Brookhaven for several years now and always have a great time. The location is perfect: quiet, right on the lake with plenty to enjoy, including the lovely little Brooks Lake,yet only a couple of minutes from the town of Glen Arbor and Lake Michigan beaches at Glen Haven. The sky is pitch black at night, and full of stars. The other guests were great company around the nightly campfires, and the owners (?) arrived from next door and graciously supplied firewood. The new raft is great!Rental information in the units was clear and helpful. Beds are comfortable, cottages are cute, well appointed and reasonably clean. Perhaps the recent heavy rains led to the dirty window sills, but a more through cleaning of the kitchen table and under some of the furniture (which we moved to find outlets for fans)would be in order:) Brookhaven #3 could use an extra table lamp. Just a few minuses: the kitchen garbage can was missing a lid and open garbage isn't pleasant, the blinds in the bathroom were broken, the dock seems very fragile. The rental company needs to update the listing/photos for accuracy: Brookhaven #3 was described as having an enclosed porch, the very reason we choose it, but it doesn't. I called when we arrived and brought this to their attention, sure that they had put us in the wrong unit. Two kayaks are shown in the photos, only one is still there, and its deck is cracked in two places. Only two cabins have full-size grills, the teeny ones are tricky for a family with teen-age boys to feed. Please update/upgrade and give this lovely property an accurate description

the cottages were perfect for our weekend bike trip. Had everything we needed including good heat as it was cool in Oct. The location and view are beautiful. Unfortunately it rained non-stop for 2 of the days and it would have been nice to have some sort of floor mat/rug at the entry inside. Great fire pit area down by the water but maybe the pit should be dug out a bit, but we still had a wonderful fire on the one night it didn't rain!

The lake is beautiful, crystal clear and Brookhaven offers kayaks, a canoe, inflatables for the kids and a great shared bonfire. The fun and interesting guests in the other cottages added to our time at Brookhaven. Fun conversations around the fire!I would highly recommend staying at Brookhaven and would personally return there if we ever get back to the area again.

The view was amazing!!!! The bathroom floor was not very clean. There were cobwebs around the baseboards and furniture. My daughter found a tooth and used band aid under one of the beds. We were offended that they had a tip envelope for the housekeeper, when it really wasn't that clean. We LOVED the location and view of the lake from the cottage. We had a great time!!!!

We just returned from 2 weeks at Brookhaven Cottages and our 20th anniversary of coming to Glen Lake. 15 of these trips have been at Brookhaven. Our families absolutely love driving down Brooks Lane, pulling up in front of cabins that we love, and settling in for swimming to the raft, biking around the lake, kayaking, grilling out, climbing the dunes, going to Glen Arbor for Art's whitefish dip, a Pine Cone ice cream cone or Cherry Republic treats and finishing out the day around a campfire. After we gaze at the most amazing sky full of stars we sleep soundly in our cozy cabins. There are no TV's, no AC's, no technology. Just lots of family and friends, good food and good times. We can't wait to come back again next summer.
