All Points North is a great home uniquely situated on 40 pristine acres. With a modern flair, this updated cottage makes for a pleasing rental experience. Situated on the lower end of the large property, the home has 2 bedrooms plus a loft bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Sleeps up to 8.

This property has many fantastic areas to explore and gorgeous views. Enjoy fresh air, clear blue skies, and nature at its best. End the day around the fire pit with the starry skies above. Both charcoal and gas grills are provided. It's a great location for winter cross-country and snowshoeing. Drive 6 miles to a great Lake Michigan beach within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, and 7 miles to the Crystal Lake public beach. Interlochen Center for the Arts is 17 miles away.

This property is on the edge of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, which includes hiking trails, beaches, and great natural beauty. Head north 20 miles to climb the dunes! Have some old-fashioned fun at the Cherry Bowl Drive-In Theater, only 2 miles away. Book a tubing or kayaking adventure at Riverside, just 4 miles away. In the winter, drive 17 miles to Crystal Mountain ski resort.

A well-mannered dog is welcome. Owners, please clean up after pets. No cats.

Absolutely Delightful Place

The house comfortably accommodated our group of four adults and four young children. We loved eating out on the deck and ending every day with a fire in the fire pit. The hike to the top of the property was awesome; wonderful surprise at the top!! We prepared 25 meals during our 10-day stay, and the kitchen had everything required to make those meals. In fact, I had to rearrange some things to make room for the food! The air conditioner worked beautifully so everyone slept well. I have been on Platte Lake every summer for 65 years. It is the perfect location for access to all that the Leelenau Pennisula offers. My only suggestion: a later check out time would be nice. It was difficult to get everyone and everything up and out by 10 a.m. But that was a minor point, and I will not hesitate to rent APN again. We all loved it.

Location close to Platte River

This house slept 8 easily and the location was extremely close to the Platte River which was key for our group. It sits off the road and feels secluded with gas grill, nice fire pit, plenty of firewood and easy in and out access. The house was well stocked with everything you need for cooked, eating, drinking and bathroom supplies (towels, etc.). The front windows provided a beautiful scenery to see. Four of the bed are up a staircase that is a little tricky to come up and down, however, this was great place to put the kids. It was 10 minutes from Bealah and less than 10 minutes to the Platte River and approximately 20 minutes from Sleeping Bear Lakeshore Dune climb. Due to the area, bring bug spray but this should be expected in this area.

Fabulous stay

This was our favorite rental so far due to several reasons. The house was immaculate, thoughtfully decorated for a vacation feel, extra comfortable bed... the best we’ve had, and the customer service was fantastic. The property management staff was great when had a little difficulty with entry, and the owners were very fast to fix the minor issue. We would definitely stay again, and highly recommend. We would also like a California king in our own home now! Thank you for allowing pets.

We had the loveliest stay in Beulah. The house is perfectly located, and easily accessible. There are many things to do in the area, it would have been easy to spend a week there and stay active but find lots of time to relax as well. The house itself is beautifully appointed, was clean upon arrival and the beds are very comfortable. We were a party of 7 but could have very comfortable my slept another two people with futons in the loft, etc. highly recommend this house if you’re traveling to Northern, MI.

I stayed at this artist's haven for 2 months and loved it!! It is so unique, so loved, in such a beautiful setting on a slope, too many good things to mention in review. Watched winter scene turn to spring, the gardens are so pretty.the giant salmon art by the shower, the location's proximity to beaches and lakes and the local villages, so lovely, sooo happy I stayed here. Valentine weekend Upnorth

We had a very nice getaway in the Modern but cozy decor of the Cabin. Having dry split firewood for the indoor woodburner was such a comfort after a nice snowy walk. The kitchen had such a great assortment of cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishware, mugs and glassware. The trails on the 40 acres of property were Not easily accessible with the knee deep snow but also the lay of the land was nearly straight uphill. The home is pet friendly but we did not bring any pets, however my socks were constantly collecting dog hair from the large fluffy rug covering most of the living room floor area. The carpet in the bedrooms and the woodfloors were very tidy. Overall we had a Wonderful relaxing time.

A great location to work from home and vacation up north

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay at All Points North. In particular, our dogs enjoyed the property and made use of the walking trails with us each morning. While we were mixing business with pleasure, working from home each day, we didn't let our work get in the way of enjoying the rental unit and surrounding lakes. The Platte Lake DNR boat ramp is just a few minutes away. Glen Arbor and the Glen Lakes are about 20-25 minutes by car, and Empire and it's great Lake Michigan beach and park are also nearby. All in all, it was a great stay. Internet was sufficient to handle simultaneous video calls and the unit was well equipped to facilitate BBQs, evening bon fires, and cozy nights watching movies/playing games. I will note the neighbor next door is very quick to alert guests that despite the layout of the driveway, his property begins just to the right of the main garage. Within 5 minutes of arrival he came over to tell me (with a little attitude) that "my boat was parked on his property" by about a foot or two. Having that boundary line more clearly marked would have been nice, but after I moved the boat I didn't hear from him again. There's obviously some kind of dispute going on between him and the owners. Again though, it didn't detract from our enjoyment - all in all a great stay up north.

Platte Road Cottage Rental

Great cottage! VERY comfy and very well appointed. Plenty of room for friends to come visit. The dogs loved the trails and front yard. We rent a cottage usually every summer up in the north west part of the state of Michigan. This rental was one of our best. It took us to all the places we love sleeping bear dunes, Glenhaven, Glen Arbor, Frankfurt and all of the private beaches if you’re a local that you know you can take your pups to. We had a great week. The rental is easy to access. The rental app and lock codes worked great. We had some questions and the property management got back to us right away. Very nice rental

Spring Break stay

We enjoyed the location. Each night we enjoyed sunset at Point Betsie Lighthouse beach. We also enjoy Sleeping Bear Dunes and Leelenau Peninsula. The property itself had great hiking as well. The kitchen was not as clean as the rest of the home. The pots and pans need replacement. The coffee pot had old coffee in it when I went to use and the coffee cups were stained. I did wash the cups and they came clean. Also, at the end of the trip I wanted to do a load of laundry and found house towels soaked inside. I called to notify management and was told they were not the house towels even when I tried to confirm they were. I was told white towels were common and were not the towels provided. I had questioned since they advertised towels were to be professionally cleaned based on COVID protocol.

Regarding the towels--we do not launder our linens in the rentals (all of our laundry IS professionally laundered through a service) however it looks like the previous renters may have done a load and forgot about them. Our housekeeper should have pulled those towels out and sounds like they missed them, we are sorry. Please be assured that the towels and sheets you used had been all professionally cleaned.

We had a nice time staying at All Points North - Beulah. The two highlights of the home for us were the potbelly fireplace inside, and the 40 acres that are available for hiking right in the house's backyard. The bed was also comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked but is in need of a refresh (cabinets do not close; strange countertop with rippled surface) and some of the cookware was not super clean. In addition, we had an issue with the main bathroom tub and sink not draining. We notified the management company within 24 hour of our arrival, but they never sent someone out to fix the issue. It was okay for the two of us because we used the other bathroom.

Wonderful property. Extremely clean and efficient. Kitchen is well appointed with pots and pans, cooking utensils, baking and serving dishes and along with a coffee maker, French press and coffee bean grinder. Extra towels and bath tissue were found in the bathrooms. Plenty of firewood for the indoor fireplace!We loved hiking the trails on the property, having a fire at night and enjoying the general splendor of northern Michigan from the deck to the beautiful views from the windows. 10/10 recommended to stay here and we will rent again!

The house with a comfortable second bedroom was perfect for hosting our guests. Preparing and cooking meals was easy because the kitchen was well equipped and the counter space was ample. Loved the wrap around deck and enjoyed daytime and evening hours on it. Would have liked window treatments for the windows along the front. After dark, we felt as if we were on display. Although there had been an issue, management resolved it to my satisfaction.

We really enjoyed the APN cabin, with all it had to offer. SO nice with all of the sleeping options and bathrooms. We really liked the walking trails around the property, too. We would have appreciated better instructions about how to access Platte Lake.

We enjoyed our stay at APN. The house was clean and well equipped with what we needed for the week. We didn’t know the area but it worked out all right. We did some driving to the beach and other towns but always great to get back to the house. Quiet, cool path up the back to climb through the woods and see the lake. Pretty buggy and coudl be cleared more. We had all that we need for our stay as a family. Thanks

Great house. Had everything we needed. While there is a lot of land, quite a bit of it might not be accessible to small children, senior citizens or persons with disabilities (quite hilly!) so you might want to clarify that. There is also a claim that you can catch sunrises and sunsets but that only holds true if you can climb to the top of the hill! At its base, the home faces North (thus All Points North).Great place for two people and I would love to use it again!

I love the location and the charm of this cabin. We stayed with another family - 4 adults total and 5 children under the age of 13. The loft was PERFECT for the kids, the cabin was well equipped with plenty kitchen items, which Up North cottages often lack. The cabin is ideal for tubing on the Platte, or exploring Sleeping Bear. It's really a good spot.

A perfect vacation home!

This house was absolutely perfect for our party of ten people (six adults and four children). The furniture, beds, and linens were all high quality and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and provided everything we needed. We prepared almost all of our meals at the home. We used the charcoal grill as the gas grill seemed to not be in working order, but we love charcoal grilling so it wasn't a concern for us. The house is very conveniently located within easy driving distance to beautiful Lake Michigan beaches, and only a five minute drive to the Cherry Bowl Drive-In, which my family loved! It's about a 25 minute drive into Traverse City, which we did almost daily. We would absolutely stay here again on a return visit to the Traverse City area.

All Points North was a great rental for our family. Although we chose this, initially for it's location, we were very satisfied with the condition of the property, both inside and out! It was very accommodating for 6 adults. I, myself, slept in the loft area, which was very comfortable and would be a great sleeping area for families with children. My only complaint was the $49.00 non-refundable damage fee, as I do not comprehend why that fee is not refunded when there was no damage made to the rental. Other property management companies I've worked with, return the damage fee.

Up North Winter Stay

Everything was great. We unfortunately started by grabbing firewood by the garage and the neighbor started yelling at us. I'm assuming this happens a lot since the neighbor has put up a sign and was probably waiting for us to do it. Needless to say, do not grab firewood from the neighbor who puts his pile on the lot line. The only other complaint is that we were supposed to do the dishes and put them away, all the while we had to checkout at 10 AM? We ran the dishwasher when we left as I feel that is standard, especially when the cycle runs for 2 hours. Overall, the dishes and early checkout time can easily managed and the place is awesome. Would definitely stay again.

APN is exactly as described and represented in the phots. The home is perfectly appointed. The master bed is huge and amazingly comfortable. The best attribute is the climb to the lovely trail behind the home. We hiked each day with our two dogs and thoroughly enjoyed.

Really enjoyed the area, biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, and visiting village of Beulah on Crystal Lake. Also like close proximity to Traverse City and nearby craft breweries.House a little pricey for 3 day stay, but worked out quite well for group of 8. Clawfoot bathtub in master bedroom needs attention as it is unsteady tilting back and forth causing potential for injury. Also, steps to loft are OK for kids used to climbing in treehouses, but too steep for some adults.
