Located on the Leelanau Peninsula, this charming four-bedroom home on West Grand Traverse Bay is spacious and offers comfortable lodging for up to 10 guests. There are two bedrooms on the main level--one with a king bed and the other with two full beds. The two downstairs bedrooms each have one queen bed. The spacious living room provides multiple seating options for full relaxation and great views, with a gas fireplace and bar. Enjoy meals in the dining room overlooking the water. The downstairs features an additional sitting room with a gas fireplace. There is also a sauna.

The patios offer plenty of seating, a gas grill, and a fire pit. The home faces east, making it perfect for enjoying gorgeous sunrise views. It is placed directly on the waterfront and is only minutes from downtown Traverse City.

The rental itself is nice, but could use some updates based on the price of the property. It was clean. The rental company (Lindsay and Jason) were very responsive. Even got a phone call Saturday evening when we couldn't figure out how to get the TV working! Were willing to have someone come on Sunday to assist us (which we didn't need after all).

Mixed Bag

We rented this house for a family gathering. Of the 4 bedrooms, 2 were huge, and 2 were tiny. Not a great setup for 8 adults.The rest of the house was quite nice, with several seating areas inside and out. The firepit on the patio is a nice feature, but the motion sensor floodlight absolutely killed the night-time atmosphere and made star watching virtually impossible. Several lights in the house had burnt out bulbs, which caused some issues.Road noise is almost constant, as the house is right on highway M22. Aside from road issues, the location is convenient to Traverse City and the Leelanau Peninsula. On the positive side, the house has a great view of the bay, and sunrises were wonderful. No dock, but the lake level was down a bit, so we actually had a small sand beach.

Family vacation

Absolutely beautiful. The view is gorgeous. I cannot say anything negative about this rental. Very spacious. We were a party of 10, 8 adults and 2 children. Lots of seating area indoor and out. We had kayaks and a paddle board delivered, great fun. Grand Traverse Bay is shallow and rocky almost all the way to the buoy at this property. No complaints, great for children but, if you want to swim, you’ll need to swim past the buoy or as we did, drove to Good Harbor Bay Beach (20-25 minutes away)because, we love the waves of an actual beach. We were 15 minutes away to Traverse city for shopping or dining. All little towns were within 20-25 minutes away. Fish town is great, Roman Wheel has delicious pizza in Sutton bay. I only wish, that I can visit up north more than 1 time a year. Visit Up North vacation rentals is a great company. Never a disappointment. Very professional and responsive.

We rented this house for a girls weekend with a winery bike tour. The house had plenty of room for 9 and was close to both Sutton's Bay and Traverse City. The interior was clean and comfortable, but as with most properties on the water, the deck area was not clean enough to be used as is. We took a few minutes and wiped them down enough to be usable.

great house for our Family

We we're 8 - grandparents, kids and grandkids. The house was set up well for the group. Instructions were good. Everything that was needed was provided and there was enough left from other renters that we were totally comfortable. Spiders outside are a big problem. The house inside was very well cleaned, outside we had to sweep, clear out spider webs and rake and pick up 3 bags of leaves that had accumulated on the back porch. We had to replace 5 light bulbs, including one in the oven. the hand held shower in the master bath would not stay up so we found a way to pack it so that it would not move. The ironing board had been damaged so it would not fold. We figured out how to get it to fold so that it would not take space in the closet. When the A/C was on to make it comfortable upstairs, it was unusually cold downstairs. Luckily there were extra blankets to keep them warm. Lights in the kitchen had spider webs in them. There were several bird nests on the front porch, one of which had a mother dove and two babies. As a result there was bird poop on the floor. We did not remove any of the nests, but the birds did finally fly away. Appliances worked fine. With no cable, the Amazon fire stick worked fine. Location was great to go to many wineries, and the beach and shallow water in front of the house was great for the kids, although cold. With the provisos that we made above we would recommend this to a large family. There are four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Nice laundry room and a sauna, although with 91 degree temperature outside that was not an option.

The location is unmatched; 10 min to traverse or Sutton's bay. It was nice not to have the road in front of house; unobstructed views of the bay were amazing. The kitchen was large and extremely well stocked. The living areas were well maintained, TVs everywhere. The house was clean and consistent with photos; lower level bathroom clean but very small insert shower, needs updating; one lower bedroom had furnace room in it and was loud. Lower bedroom was very roomy and comfortable bed but had no curtains and blinds were broken so couldn't darken room. Stairs to water have no railings and steps are broken near the base; you step onto rocks for about 10 feet then nice and sandy pretty far out. Overall beautiful but outside needs maintenance; birds nesting on front porch made it messy. Very good communication with rental company.

This is the second time we've rented this house. We love the location and the house itself. I will say this time the general condition of the house was not what we expected. Outside the porch at the entrance was not clean (chair was dirty and covered with spider webs). The patio was covered with tree debris and dead bugs and the fire pit had metal sparklers littered in and around it. We understand the dock could not be put in but the steps down to the water were in disrepair at the bottom making it difficult to get in the water. As for the kitchen, there weren't any kitchen linens so we had to use bath towels. Also, the quality of the cookware was poor. Most of the large skillets were unusable. Our overall impression was that the property could use a little TLC. All that said, we did enjoy ourselves. Just wanted to provide some feedback.

Overall this was a great stay for the price and location. There was plenty of space for the 8 of us. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of blankets. The A/C worked perfectly, and there was great water temp/pressure in the showers. Amazing view of the water!!!! My only suggestion for improvement was the outside of the home - it wasn't as well cared for as the inside and appeared slightly run down. Simple things like a power wash, removing the weeds from the patio, and upgrading the grill (the grate was rusty and we had to cover it with foil) would have made a big difference. I'd certainly consider staying here again.

Quirky house but overall a great experience! Close drive to a few different attractions and plenty of space in the home to hangout without feeling on top of each other. View was beautiful and the fireplaces all over the home were a nice touch. Few things (if I'm being picky) - some of the main lights were not working in the kitchen and I wish they had stocked up on basics a bit more for guests - toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. as most homes you don't have to worry about bringing those things.

We stayed here for the first week of our honeymoon in Sept 2020. The views of the lake from the back were absolutely beautiful. The backyard firepit and multiple patios made for enjoyable and serene evenings. There was considerable traffic noise from the main road that runs along the front of the house, but the master bedroom was quiet. The home was comfortable and clean, though the master shower could have been cleaner. The door locks were finicky and there weren't as many cooking supplies as I expected for the price, but those views made up for everything.

The most Beautiful Bachelorette Weekend

The girls, bride and I absolutely loved the home and were able to set up games and decorations for our bachelorette gathering quickly. The location is paramount. Ten Days in TC

My family had a wonderful time at Be Dazzled and fulfilled all of our needs to enjoy the beautiful West Bay of Traverse City. The patio/fire pit and the yard completed our ability to be both inside and out! The lower level bedroom that sits adjacent to the utility room is quite noisy and should have a better door to quite the noise. The master bedroom has a view to die for, but the window is smoked and you can't see through it at all .. that window needs to be replaced.We enjoyed our experience and will be back next year!

Cozy Winter Getaway!

This home is situated on the water with a beautiful view of the bay. It is so comfortable and spacious, with several gathering areas in the home. Just a quick few minutes drive into Traverse City to enjoy restaurants, shopping and fun town vibe. We did some cross country skiing and snow tubing all within about 10-15 minutes from the home. What a nice winter getaway!

We gather every year for a few days reunion. This was one of the best places we have stayed. The house is right on the bay with beautiful sun rises- when not cloudy. We were very comfortable. The house was nicely decorated and had lots of room for 7 of us. We had trouble getting into the house, but the staff was very helpful in getting us in.

Comfortable Lake House

Our family of six had a wonderful time here. The location was perfect for us, a ten minute drive from Traverse City in one direction and Sutton Bay in the other. Apparently there is normally a small beach, but historically high water levels this year have erased it. A set of stairs instead descends directly into several feet of water. The master suite is especially nice, and the other bedrooms are fine. The living room is large and very comfortable for a big group. Furnishings are dated, but in good condition. Everything was very clean. Not great stuff: The outdoor area is in need of maintenance. For example, one of the large staircase banisters had broken off, and was just left lying alongside the house, a hazard for our small child. There is an outdoor table with an umbrella pole sticking up, but no sign of an umbrella. A door in the living room had a broken screen, and had to be left closed. The AC isn’t well balanced: when it was comfortable upstairs it was much too cold downstairs, and there’s only one thermostat for the whole house. There are no beach chairs, toys, towels, etc. We bought some of this stuff and left it for future guests, or maybe for our next stay if we’re lucky. We would absolutely rent here again, but would hope to see some maintenance and updating. Hopefully the water level will return to normal at some point, which would make for a better experience.

Fabulous Stay

We had a wonderful family time at the house. It was a great time for all of us to just relax and reconnect. 3 Generations came together to enjoy the sights, sounds, shopping and each other. The indoor space as fabulous for relaxing, talking, cooking together and dinning. The outdoor space was wonderful with a large deck with stunning views, a fire pit for the outdoor camping feel with the comforts of luxury living just steps away.Although it was a financial commitment to rent the house, it was so well worth it. Convenient to Traverse City and to Suttons Bay. Wineries, Shopping, restaurants, boating, hiking, Bars, all kinds of fun things to do and see within minutes. I would recommend this vacation home to all my friends.

We had a great weekend trip with our close friends and family and even had two little kids with us (6 months old & 2 years old) and the Bedazzled property worked out awesome! The adults were able to relax and hang out in the common areas & at the bonfire without affecting the sleep of the little ones. We had plenty of room for the 9 adults as well! Very comfortable stay and beautiful property on the bay. Close drive to downtown TC and Sutton's Bay as well. We had a great weekend and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!!

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as expected and check-in was so easy. We were left alone which was appreciated, there was ample parking for our 5 cars and received a courtesy call to make sure everything was ok but that is the only time we heard from anyone - which we loved. I'm here to enjoy my time with friends and don't want unexpected visitors or repair men trying to work while I'm on vacation.

I would say Be Dazzled is by far the best house our group has rented. Our group has been renting houses in the up north area for 33yrs. This house has character and felt inviting. Sorry for the unfortunate bathroom incident we all are getting somewhat older. May I recommend bathroom wall bars?

This house was absolutely lovely. Our whole family enjoyed our week here in July and had plenty of room. The view of West Traverse Bay is spectacular! Plenty of outdoor furniture so we could eat outside, sun bath, and enjoy time roasting marshmallows around the campfire at night. Located halfway between Traverse City and Suttons Bay was perfect! The rental/management company was wonderful to work with and were very responsive to any concerns we had during our stay.

We had a great stay at Bedazzled - the lot is just beautiful! The house was roomy and very nice - carpet was a big dingy and dirty and decor outdated - but everything was tidy, nice and mostly important worked! The backyard is just gorgeous - I would recommend maybe putting a little more into the deck right off the house and the porch underneath - would be a real showstopper if that outside space was up to date. Overall really enjoyed it and would recommend to a friend!

This home is a well located and beautiful place. Our family of 8 was very comfortable there. Our children took advantage of the direct access to the water and enjoyed using their kayaks and paddle boards. Very nice back patio with comfy furniture and nice sitting areas inside as well. Appreciated having laundry facilities. The property manager was very responsive when we needed additional supplies, such as trash bags.

We had the most wonderful time at BE Dazzled.It is in a great location, not too close yet not too far from town and convenient.the water is right our side the door and down a few steps. This a perfect home to enjoy with our family, and we did. We will come back to this house again.

What a perfect stay! This home was clean and gorgeous! We had the absolute best vacation ever staying here and our kids ask daily to return to the Lake House! There were a couple minor things that maintenance immediately came and fixed. The staff was amazing and Kathleen was the sweetest person to work with on booking our getaway! I can't wait to return!!! Perfect area too- close to Traverse city downtown, Suttons Bay, Fishtown Leland and the sleeping bear dunes! Memories we will never forget were made here.
